With 12 years of rich pastoral ministry deeply shaped by years of caring for orphaned
and vulnerable children through Watoto Ministries, Stephen brings a proven track
record of inspiring intergenerational worship, empowering volunteers, and expanding
local outreach. Stephen holds an Undergraduate degree in Business Administration
from Uganda Christian University Mukono, a Diploma in Transformational Church

for delivering relevant, engaging messages that connect God’s Word to everyday life.
He is strongly drawn to Calvary’s mission of helping everyone in Yellowknife discover
and follow Jesus.
Stephen has been happily married to Juliana J. Kihumuro for almost 11 years, who
brings her own wealth of experience in biblical counseling to their shared ministry.
Together, they have three boys Hanael (9), Harel (6), and Hadriel (4) and a beloved
daughter, Maria (21), whom they have fostered for nine years. Outside of ministry,
Stephen is an avid traveler who loves exploring new places, enjoys engaging with
music, and appreciates unwinding with a good movie.
As a family, they are incredibly excited about the prospect of relocating to the
Northwest Territories, planting deep roots, and joining the vibrant community and
ministry at Calvary Community Church.
